Christopher Parker Spears

He is finally here and life has been a whirlwind!!! Parker was born after 28 long hours of labor on June 6 at 3:13 am!  He was 2 weeks early and weighed 8lbs 10 oz and was 21 inches long! So can you imagine if I had waited for his due date?  Avery is so so in love with her "baby Parker" as she calls him.  She can't get enough kisses and touches from him! She even called him "bruder" today.  So after such a long journey, we have been so blessed with our sweet miracle Avery Grayce and now our sweet laid back baby boy Parker! Isn't God so good???

3:13 am....we were all crying from exhaustion and joy!
Welcome sweet baby boy
 Waiting to meet big sister
For the first time every.... the Spears are leaving the hospital with a baby in their arms all being sent home on the same day, same time, problem free! Overwhelmed for sure!

Its been so long...and the adventure has just begun

I can't believe it has been so long since I have had a chance to post! Lot's has changed, especially my baby Avery...who is no longer a baby!

This was pictures we posted back in November to announce we were pregnant again. These don't even look like Avery anymore!
Even this seems outdated as it was taken almost 4 weeks ago!

We are having a baby boy named Christopher Parker Spears the beginning of June (or the end of May).  Avery is getting really excited, as excited as a 1 1/2 yr old can get! I am thrilled because I can't wait to hold Parker and not have him kick me all day and night!! Thrill of pregnancy.

We were shocked to find out we were pregnant back in October. Brent's dad, Don had been to our house in GA to celebrate Avery's first birthday back in August. A few days after he left, he began to experience some major health issues that eventually led to him being diagnosed with a treatable Leukemia some time after Labor Day weekend. In fact it's the same leukemia that Robin Roberts from Good Morning America is fighting. Unfortunately Brent's dad lost his battle on October 6, 2013, with his children and grand baby girl on his lap. We were excited to learn that only two weeks before he left us, he had come to know the Lord and had been saved! We are excited that we will one day get to spend eternity with him. It was such a tough time for our family, but at the same time, two days after Don went to be with Jesus, we found out we were expecting Parker! What a week of emotions for sure.

Since then, Brent and I bought in fact built our first home and moved back in February. We have since then been working on moving in and getting ready to go from having one toddler to a toddler and a new born! Such an exciting time and yet time of challenge for sure!
